Paso Robles Tank, Inc. in Hemet, California is seeking an Autodesk Inventor Designer to create, modify, test, and maintain part models, assemblies, and drawing templates for the company’s custom design automation system.

This role develops reusable parametric templates for accurate 3D models and 2D drawings across configurations, supports a long‑term storage tank project, and collaborates with Engineering and the automation team; strong Inventor skills are essential, with programming experience

Qualifications

• Professional Autodesk Inventor experience is required.
• Strong proficiency creating and modifying Inventor part models and assemblies.
• Ability to create complete Inventor fabrication drawings with base, projected, section, and detail views.
• Proficiency with dimensions, centerlines, weld symbols, balloons, annotations, and parts lists.
• Ability to understand and modify existing models and assemblies while preserving design relationships.
• Understanding of parametric modeling principles and how dimensional changes affect parts and assemblies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Autodesk Inventor templates for the automated design system.
• Create parametric models that accommodate varying dimensions and configurations.
• Build and maintain assemblies with defined constraints and relationships.
• Produce complete fabrication drawing templates with views, dimensions, and notes.
• Modify models and templates to support new configurations and requirements.
• Test models and drawings across parameter changes to verify updates.
• Troubleshoot modeling issues and coordinate resolutions with Engineering.
• Collaborate with the automation team to ensure templates integrate with automated processes.
• Maintain organized CAD files, revisions, and references.
