You’ll model steel sheet metal parts and large‑scale assemblies, collaborate with engineers and fabricators, and ensure drawings are accurate and buildable for fabrication.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical certificate in drafting, mechanical design, or related field.
• 3-5 years of CAD drafting or design experience in manufacturing or industrial settings.

Responsibilities

• Create 3D models and fabrication drawings for steel sheet metal parts and structures.
• Design and detail large-scale mechanical assemblies for factory equipment.
• Collaborate with engineers to convert concepts into production-ready drawings.
• Ensure designs are accurate and manufacturable before release.
• Maintain BOMs and drawing documentation.
