Job summary

ConvenientMD is seeking a dedicated Paramedic (Urgent Care Tech) to join our Urgent Care team. You will perform triage, vital signs, and patient assessment in a fast-paced setting while supporting providers and documenting care in EMR systems.

Must hold a licensed paramedic credential, BLS, and have experience with IV placement and point-of-care testing. Willingness to travel across ConvenientMD locations within a 1-hour radius is expected.

Qualifications

• Licensed paramedic with national certification and prior IV placement experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required by AHA or Red Cross.
• Experience triaging patients in urgent care or similar setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive triage, take vitals, document history, and identify urgent needs.
• Assist with exams, testing, and procedures; support providers during care.
• Document results and maintain accurate EMR records.
• Ensure instruments and equipment are clean, sterilized, and ready for use.
• Collaborate with clinical team to coordinate patient care and process training.
