Job summary

ConvenientMD in New England seeks a dedicated Paramedic (nationally registered EMT) to join as an Urgent Care Technician. You will work with medical providers to deliver high-quality care in a fast-paced clinic setting.

Responsibilities include triage, vital signs, specimen collection, point-of-care testing, wound care, immunizations, and documentation in EMR. You will support testing, patient education, and collaboration with the clinical team.

Qualifications

• Licensed paramedic with national certification preferred and IV placement experience.
• BLS certification required; other CPR/ACLS not accepted.

Responsibilities

• Triage patients by taking vitals and medical histories and documenting observations.
• Assist exams and prepare equipment; support providers during testing and procedures.
• Perform point-of-care testing (strep, flu, RSV, SARS-CoV-2, glucose, lipids, UA) and diagnostic testing.
• Provide cardiac and airway management, including ECGs and nebulizers; administer oxygen.
• Carry out wound care, immunizations, and medication administration per regulations.
• Document patient histories and treatment details in EMR; monitor patient changes.
