Brown University Health seeks a licensed EMT-Paramedic to join LifePACT, delivering non-invasive patient care during transport and supporting protocol development, training, and research. You will document care per RI standards and engage in outreach activities to the community.

Role requires current certifications, a year of EMS field experience, and willingness to travel by ambulance and air/ground transport as needed within Rhode Island.

Formación

• Current Rhode Island EMT-Paramedic license with at least 1 year EMS field experience.
• National Registry Paramedic certification is required.
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications (instructor status preferred).
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
• Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences, Nursing or related field preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide non-invasive patient care during transport alongside the critical care paramedic under physician supervision.
• Assist in development of patient care protocols and methods and participate in training curricula and research.
• Complete patient documentation per Rhode Island Hospital and RI Department of Health requirements in a timely manner.
• Conduct public education, marketing and outreach while maintaining a positive attitude toward patients and staff.
• Travel with ambulances and aircraft as needed and support emergency department communications.
