Brown University Health is seeking an EMT-B to support non-invasive patient care during transport under supervision of the Medical Director and LifePACT Manager. You will help implement care protocols, participate in training and capture documentation for billing and compliance.

The role requires a Rhode Island EMT-B license, BLS certification, and EVOC within one year. Assists with department communications and field responses in a dynamic setting.

Formación

• High School Degree or equivalent.
• Current State of Rhode Island EMT-B license.
• BLS certification; instructor status preferred.
• EVOC certification within one year of employment.
• Valid and clean driver's license.

Responsabilidades

• Performs non-invasive patient care alongside the critical care paramedic during transport under physician supervision.
• Provides comprehensive, effective non-invasive care to patients transported by LifePACT.
• Assists in development of patient care protocols and methods.
• Participates in training curricula and research.
• Completes patient documentation per Rhode Island Hospital and Rhode Island Department of Health.
• Maintains positive communication with staff, patients, families and referring hospitals.
