Brown University Health's LifePACT program seeks an EMT-B under supervision of the Medical Director and LifePACT Manager to deliver patient care, assist in training, equipment maintenance, and research. This role will support collaboration with hospitals, patients, and communities while upholding program standards.

The EMT-B will work under guidance, ensuring not to supersede RN or Paramedic roles when responsibility transfers.

Qualificações

• High School Degree or equivalent.
• Current State of Rhode Island EMT-B license.
• Knowledgeable in use and routine maintenance of equipment and supplies used by LifePACT Ambulance.
• Must be able to read, speak, write and comprehend English without restriction.
• Demonstrated knowledge to provide care considering aging, development, and culture.

Responsabilidades

• Performs non-invasive patient care alongside the critical care paramedic during transport.
• Provides comprehensive, safe non-invasive care to patients transported by LifePACT.
• Assists in development of patient care protocols and methods.
• Participates in training curricula and research.
• Completes patient documentation per RI Hospital and DOH in a timely fashion.
