Job summary

Community Ambulance is seeking a Paramedic to respond to emergency and non‑emergency requests, providing rapid assessment and critical care in line with Georgia EMS protocols. You will work with a dedicated team, ensure ambulances are prepared, and communicate with CMED and receiving facilities to ensure smooth patient handoffs.

The role requires a Georgia Paramedic license, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift patients and operate under demanding conditions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Current licensure as a Georgia Paramedic.
• Georgia driver’s license or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency and non‑emergency requests for service and provide efficient, immediate care.
• Conduct initial patient assessment and administer treatment per Georgia EMS Scope of Practice for Paramedic level.
• Ensure vehicles are stocked, fueled, and ready for shifts; communicate with CMED and receiving facilities.
• Document required information and maintain compliance with state rules and EMS protocols.
• Collaborate with team and public safety personnel to deliver high‑quality care.
