Job summary

Community Ambulance Bibb County in Georgia is seeking a Paramedic to respond to emergency and non-emergency requests, provide immediate care, and transport patients to appropriate facilities.

You will perform initial patient assessment, administer treatments per Georgia scope, communicate with receiving facilities, and ensure ambulance readiness. The role requires strong teamwork, physical stamina, and adherence to protocols.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Current licensure as a Georgia Paramedic.
• Minimum 2 years as a licensed driver with a clear MVR.
• Demonstrate ability to work well with people, both internally and externally.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency and non-emergency requests for service to provide efficient and immediate care and transport.
• Conduct initial patient assessment and administer treatment in compliance with Georgia scope of practice for EMS Paramedic level.
• Provide safe transport of the patient and communicate with receiving facility for medical direction.
• Complete required documentation and maintain ambulance readiness for next shift.
