Community Ambulance Bibb County is seeking a dedicated Paramedic to respond to emergency and non‑emergency requests, provide rapid assessment and treatment, and transport patients to suitable facilities. You’ll operate under the Georgia Scope of Practice for EMS Paramedics and work within a non‑profit, mission‑driven system that serves the community.

The role requires a Georgia Paramedic license, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid driver’s license with a clean MVR.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Current Georgia Paramedic license.
• Minimum of 2 years as a licensed driver with a clear MVR.
• Demonstrate ability to work well with people, both internally and externally.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency and non-emergency requests for service.
• Provide initial patient assessment and administer treatment per Georgia EMS scope.
• Transport patient to appropriate destination.
• Insure ambulance is stocked and fueled, maintain cleanliness.
• Complete required documentation prior to end of shift.
• Maintain compliance with Georgia Rules and Regulations and EMS Protocols.
• Work collaboratively with allied health and public safety personnel.
