Job summary

Community Ambulance Bibb County in Georgia is seeking a Georgia-licensed Paramedic to respond to emergency and non-emergency calls, provide rapid assessment and treatment, and transport patients to appropriate facilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Current licensure as a Georgia Paramedic.
• Minimum of 2 years as a licensed driver with a clear MVR.

Responsibilities

• Arrive for work prepared for the scheduled shift.
• Respond to calls from CMED or designated posts and provide care.
• Perform patient assessment and administer treatment per Georgia EMS scope.
• Ensure ambulance is stocked, fueled and clean for the next shift.
• Maintain two-way communication with CMED throughout the shift.
• Document all patient care and transfer information accurately.
• Operate safely and proficiently a vehicle in traffic for emergent and non-emergent runs.
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel.
• Report any medical or safety concerns to supervisors immediately.
