Six Flags Great America & Hurricane Harbor seeks a Paramedic to provide advanced and basic life support to guests and team members within the park environment. You will triage, document, restock, and assist senior EMS staff while operating park vehicles and staying compliant with Region X protocols.

The ideal candidate holds an EMT-Paramedic license with reciprocity, CPR/BLS for Healthcare Providers, and flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays in outdoor conditions.

Qualifikationen

• Age 18+ or older.
• Education: High school diploma or GED.
• Current Illinois Department of Public Health EMT-Paramedic license with reciprocity requirements.
• Current BLS for Healthcare Providers CPR/AED certification.

Aufgaben

• Provide basic and advanced emergency and non-emergency medical care to team members and guests in accordance with park and Region X system protocols.
• Triage patients when multiple calls or patients overwhelm available personnel; decide dispositions and transports.
• Use an electronic tablet for documenting reports.
• Complete checks on bags, monitors, drugs, vehicles, and treatment areas; restock supplies.
• Assist BLS crews on calls when requested and sufficient personnel are available.
• Assist Paramedic and EMT-B Supervisors with skills training of EMT-B personnel.
• Safely operate department vehicles.
• Answer calls for emergency assistance via telephone and radio.
• Perform drug and alcohol screens on team members per park policies.
• Transport team members to off-site acute care facilities for occupational health services.
• Maintain a clean work area and perform basic cleaning of First Aid facilities.
• Complete safety ride audits and safety inspections as directed by Safety staff and Leads.
• Maintain professional relationships with guests and team members.
• Maintain grooming standards per Six Flags policies.
