Job summary

Six Flags Great America & Hurricane Harbor seeks a qualified Paramedic to provide basic and advanced life support to guests and team members within the park. You will operate within Region X EMT-P scope, document reports on an electronic tablet, and support park safety protocols.

Responsibilities include triage, pre-shift checks, assisting BLS crews, and transporting to off-site facilities when needed. This role requires flexibility, outdoor work in varying weather, and strong teamwork.

Qualifications

• Age 18 years or older.
• Education: High school diploma or GED.
• Licensure: Illinois Department of Public Health EMT-Paramedic license; Wisconsin license or National Registry must meet reciprocity with IDPH.
• CPR/AED certification: BLS Healthcare Provider.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic and advanced emergency and non-emergency medical care to guests and team members.
• Triage patients during multi-call situations and determine dispositions and transports.
• Document reports electronically.
• Perform pre-shift checks on equipment and restock supplies as needed.
• Assist BLS crews on calls when requested and supervise EMT-B training.
