The role emphasizes safety and adherence to established guidelines throughout transport.

Qualifications include NC paramedic licensure, BCLS, a valid NC driver’s license (21+), and FEMA certifications.

Qualifications

• Maintains current licensure and certification as a Paramedic in NC Office of Emergency Medical Services
• Maintain BCLS certification
• Must have a valid NC driver’s license, must be 21 years old to meet Mission Health insurance guidelines
• Maintain FEMA 100, 200, 700, & 800
• Must attend 80% of monthly scheduled team meetings

Responsibilities

• Responsible for providing high quality pre-hospital and interfacility advanced life support including assessment, triage, and treatment utilizing standards and guidelines established by HCA Healthcare North Carolina MAMA Medical Director(s). The Emergency Medical Technician will be responsible for carrying out the mission of HCA Healthcare North Carolina MAMA and goals of assuring that safety remains the highest priority throughout the transport continuum.
