Mission Hospital in Asheville, North Carolina seeks a PRN Emergency Medical Technician to provide high-quality pre-hospital and interfacility transport with advanced life support, under HCA Healthcare North Carolina MAMA Medical Directors. The role emphasizes safety and adherence to established guidelines throughout transport.

Qualifications include NC paramedic licensure, BCLS, a valid NC driver’s license (21+), and FEMA certifications.

Qualifications

• Maintains current licensure and certification as a Paramedic in NC Office of Emergency Medical Services
• Maintain BCLS certification
• Must have a valid NC driver’s license, must be 21 years old to meet Mission Health insurance guidelines
• Maintain FEMA 100, 200, 700, & 800
• Must attend 80% of monthly scheduled team meetings

What qualifications you will need

Maintains current licensure and certification as a Paramedic in N.C. Office of Emergency

Medical Services

Maintain BCLS certification

Must have a valid NC driver’s license, must be 21 years old to meet Mission Health insurance guidelines

Maintain FEMA 100, 200, 700, & 800

Must attend 80% of monthly scheduled team meetings

Preferences

Associated degree

Minimum 3-5 years’ full-time experience at the EMT level at a demanding 911 or interfacility transport service.
