Job summary

Loyal Source is seeking a PRN EMT-Paramedic to provide medical support for detainees, including history taking and vital signs. The role requires BLS and EMT-Paramedic certification, with at least one year of recent experience and Tier 4 security clearance.

Local candidates in the United States preferred. Responsibilities include assisting with medical appointments, documenting encounters, and coordinating care with medical providers and other staff.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required.
• Must have EMT-Paramedic certification.
• Must have at least one year of experience within the last 24 months.
• Tier 4 Security Clearance required to start.

Responsibilities

• Obtains medical histories and completes necessary paperwork on detainees entering the facilities including vital signs.
• Assists with medical appointments, emergencies and sick calls including taking vital signs and documenting detainee medical complaints.
• Documents all detainee contacts, followed by signature and name stamp.
• Ensures the medical provider's orders are implemented.
• Coordinates health care needs of detainees with other staff members.
• Coordinates referrals to off-site providers as required.
• Performs record keeping functions in accordance with program policies.

Schedule

• PRN
• Night shifts

Pay: $18.75 + $4.93/hr

Requirements

• BLS certification required.
• Must have and maintain current state Emergency Medical Technician - Paramedic certification
• Must have at least one year experience within the last 24 months.
• Tier 4 Security Clearance required to start.

Must be local

Must be COMFORTABLE with all age groups 0-99.

Type Of Work

• Obtains medical histories and completes necessary paperwork on detainees entering the facilities including vital signs. Any medical problems are referred to the Physician, and/or NP/PA.
• Assists with medical appointments, emergencies and sick call to include taking vital signs and documenting detainee's medical complaints.
• Documents all detainee contacts, followed by their signature and name stamp.
• Ensures the medical provider's orders are implemented.
• Coordinates health care needs of detainees with other staff members.
• Coordinates referrals to off-site providers as required.
• Performs record keeping functions in accordance with program policies.
