BioLife Plasma Services is seeking a Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) to support plasma center operations in Tulsa, OK. You will determine donor eligibility, review lab results, and manage donor safety under the Center Manager and Center Physician guidance.

The role requires EMT-Paramedic certification, CPR/AED, and at least two years in a clinical setting, with state licensure for the responsibilities. This is a part-time position reporting to the Center Manager.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; nursing program graduate with state requirements.
• Current CPR and AED certification.
• Two years in a clinical or hospital setting.

Responsabilités

• Determine donor eligibility including informed consent, education, medical history interview and physical exam, blood testing and review of SPE.
• Assess donor reactions and manage medical emergencies following SOPs; coordinate with Center Physician.
• Refer to Center Physician or Medical Affairs for charting unacceptable findings or medical guidance.
• Support Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs for employees as applicable.
• Manage employee incidents and coordinate with occupational health/EHS as needed.
