Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services in Tulsa is seeking a Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) to support daily plasma collection operations and donor care. You will determine donor eligibility, manage donor reactions, review test results, and assist with safety programs and emergency readiness under physician guidance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, including nursing program graduate-equivalent.
• Licensed EMT-Paramedic in the expected state of responsibility.
• Current CPR and AED certification.
• Complete FDA training for BioLife Medical Support Specialist.
• Two years in a clinical or hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility, including informed consent and history.
• Evaluate donor reactions and manage medical emergencies per SOPs.
• Review laboratory results and communicate unsuitable findings.
• Support vaccination programs for employees and respond to incidents.
• Coordinate with Center Physician and Medical Affairs on medical issues.
