Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services is seeking a Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) to support plasma center operations in Bossier City, LA. You will determine donor eligibility, review test results, and manage donor safety under the Center Manager and Center Physician.

Responsibilities include evaluating donor reactions, following SOPs for emergencies, and supporting vaccination programs for employees. This role requires state licensure and two years of clinical experience.

Qualifications

• Licensed EMT-Paramedic in the state of responsibility.
• CPR and AED certification current.
• State licensure required for clinical duties.
• Minimum of two years in a clinical or hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Determin donor eligibility including informed consent, medical history, physical exam, and SPE review.
• Evaluate donor reactions and medical emergencies per SOPs; coordinate with Center Physician.
• Refer to Center Physician or Medical Affairs for abnormal findings or medical guidance.
• Support Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs for employees as applicable.
• Manage occupational health/ER incidents and follow EHS guidance.
