Cincinnati Children's in Cincinnati is seeking a Paramedic to join the Burnet Emergency Department on a part-time basis (0.6 FTE) with day shifts. You will transport patients and provide care per EMS guidelines, with pay starting between $23.90 and $29.88 per hour based on experience.

Qualified candidates hold Ohio Paramedic Certification (Kentucky within 6 months), NREMT within 6 months, ACLS/PALS within 3 months, neonatal and trauma credentials, and a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of work experience in a related job discipline
• Ohio Paramedic Certification, Kentucky Paramedic certification within 6 months of hire
• NREMT within 6 months of hire
• ACLS, PALS certification within 3 months of hire
• Neonatal Resuscitation Provider within 6 months of hire
• Trauma certification within 1 year of hire
• Valid Driver's License with less than 5 points on driving record

Responsibilities

• Patient Transport—Perform skills as established by CCHMC Transport Team policy and procedure and guideline and the State of Ohio Board of EMS.
• Patient Care—Provide appropriate patient care during transport and give full report to clinical personnel at receiving facility.
• Safety—Foster environment that prevents accident, illness and injury and ensures compliance with safety requirements.
• Communication—Promote open and timely communication with health care team, patients, families and visitors; maintain confidentiality.
• Confidentiality—Protect and safeguard patient/family personal medical and financial information at all times.
