Job summary

Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center is seeking a part-time Paramedic for the Burnet Campus Emergency Department. Schedule is 24 hours weekly (FTE 0.6) with starting pay range $23.90 - $29.88 per hour.

Responsibilities include patient transport, assessment within paramedic scope, safe vehicle operation, direct patient care during transport, and clear communication with receiving staff. Requires Ohio/Kentucky paramedic certifications, NREMT, ACLS/PALS, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of work experience in a related job discipline.
• Ohio Paramedic Certification, Kentucky Parametric certification within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Patient Transport – Perform skills as established by CCHMC Transport Team policy and procedure and guideline and the State of Ohio Board of EMS.
• Independently assess department needs and respond within Paramedic scope of practice.
• Maintain current driver’s license and good driving records; points not to exceed 5.
• Patient Care – Provide appropriate patient care during transport and give full report to clinical personnel at receiving facility.
