Baptist Health Louisville is seeking a Part-time Paramedic to join our Transport EMS team. This 2nd shift role involves providing advanced life support and direct patient care across ages in the hospital transport setting.

You will complete accurate documentation, maintain ambulance readiness, and coordinate transport priorities while adhering to state EMS scope of practice and Baptist Health policies. Eligible candidates hold Kentucky EMS Paramedic license, BLS, PALS, and ACLS.

Qualifications

• Requires High School diploma or GED.
• Active Paramedic license through the Kentucky Board of EMS.
• BLS for Healthcare Provider (AHA/ARC).
• PALS & ACLS certifications.
• Other certifications and specialty training as required by KY EMS.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsabilités

• Provide advanced life support to patients across all ages.

• Perform ambulance transportation within paramedic scope of practice.
• Maintain vehicle and equipment readiness and ensure ALS gear is ready before requests for service.

Administers direct care to the patient of all age groups under the direction of an emergency medical physician, emergency physician’s assistant, and emergency advanced registered nurse practitioner or utilizes approved EMS medical protocols if transporting a patient.
