Job summary

Community Ambulance Bibb County is seeking a licensed Paramedic to respond to emergency and non‑emergency calls, perform patient assessment and care, and transport to the appropriate facility. You will operate the ambulance, maintain supplies, and document all actions per protocol.

Strong communication with CMED and hospital staff is essential. Requirements include a Georgia Paramedic license and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• Georgia Paramedic license is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to lift 180 lbs with assistance and perform patient transfers.
• Proficiency with Zoll Navigator and Zoll ePCR systems.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency and non-emergency requests for service.
• Provide direct and continuous patient assessment and treatment per scope of practice.
• Transport patients to receiving facilities and ensure safe handoffs.
• Maintain ambulance readiness and complete documentation each shift.
• Communicate with CMED and receiving facilities for medical direction.
