Job summary

Community Ambulance Bibb County is seeking a Paramedic to respond to emergency and non-emergency calls, provide rapid care, and transport patients to appropriate facilities. You will work within a mission-driven, nonprofit system known for high-quality community care.

You will assess patients, administer treatment per Georgia EMS protocols, and coordinate with receiving facilities. Strong teamwork and communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Current licensure as a Georgia Paramedic.
• Minimum of 2 years as a licensed driver with a clear MVR.
• Demonstrate ability to work well with people, both internally and externally.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency and non-emergency requests for service to provide rapid care and transport.
• Report to CMED and ensure ambulance is stocked and fueled.
• Conduct initial patient assessment and provide treatment per Georgia EMS scope of practice.
• Maintain two-way communication with CMED throughout shift.
• Complete documentation prior to end of shift.
