Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services in the USA, ND (Bismarck) seeks a Medical Support Specialist (Plasma Center Nurse) to determine donor eligibility, review test results, and support center operations under the Center Manager and Physician. You will handle donor safety and regulatory compliance within a plasma center setting.

Requirements include EMT-Paramedic licensure, CPR/AED, basic IV therapy, and at least two years of clinical experience. A $2500 sign-on bonus is offered with a part-time schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; nursing program graduation per state requirements.
• Currently licensed or certified in the responsibility state: EMT-Paramedic.
• CPR and AED certification current.
• Fulfill state requirements for basic IV therapy.
• Complete FDA approved BioLife Medical Support Specialist training.
• Two years in a clinical or hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility including informed consent, AIDS education, and eligibility review.
• Assess donor reactions and manage medical emergencies per SOPs.
• Refer to Center Physician or Medical Affairs for medical/technical guidance.
• Support Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs for employees.
• Manage employee incidents and coordinate with occupational health/EHS.
• Act as Pandemic Coordinator when authorized by EHS and assist investigations.
