Job summary

Harris Regional Medical Center is seeking a Paramedic to join Harris EMS on a PRN basis. The role involves responding to both emergency and non-emergency calls, providing advanced and basic life support, and ensuring EMS units are fully equipped and ready for incident response.

The schedule rotates between days and nights with 24 or 12-hour shifts and weekend rotations. Ideal candidates will have Georgia North Carolina Paramedic credentials, CPR certifications (AHA/ARC/ASHI), and ACLS/ALS and

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; an Associate's degree or higher is preferred.
• Current North Carolina Paramedic, National Registry Preferred.
• Two years' experience as a full time Paramedic desired.
• AHA, ARC, ASHI/HSI CPR; ACLS/ALS; PALS/PEPP; BTLS/PHTLS/ITLS/TECC or TCCC – acquire within 6 months and maintain thereafter.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency and non-emergency situations with advanced and basic life support.
• Ensure that the assigned unit is properly equipped, stocked, and prepared to respond to single or multiple patient incidents.
• Be responsible for schedules and coverage if other personnel are not available to cover a shift.
• Engage in continuous improvement and participate in process improvement ideas.
