Job summary

AMR is hiring Paramedics for a full-time position in the Huntingdon, TN area. Hourly rates start at $21.50 plus DOE, with opportunities for overtime and advanced patient care responsibilities.

You will assess calls, provide advanced medical care using defibrillators, EKG monitors, IV fluids, and coordinate care on scene as team lead while driving the ambulance on 911 responses. Strong patient communication is essential.

Qualifications

• State Paramedic License is required.
• State Driver’s License is required.
• BLS, ACLS, and NREMT-Paramedic certifications required.
• Driving record must comply with company policy.
• Pass Physical Agility Test.

Responsibilities

• Assess each call and determine the best course of action using Paramedic protocols.
• Provide advanced medical care with defibrillator, EKG, oxygen, suction, and IV fluids.
• Communicate with patients and families to assure quality care.
• Act as Paramedic team leader and manage scene and unit as needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel.
