AMR is hiring a Paramedic for a full-time role in Tennessee. Hourly rates start at $21.50, DOE.

You will deliver high-quality emergency medical care, lead on scene when needed, and drive the ambulance on 911 responses. You will perform on-call medical interventions with defibrillation, EKG monitoring, oxygen therapy, IV access, and other critical procedures, while communicating clearly with patients and families to reassure them during emergencies.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• State Paramedic License.
• State Driver’s License.
• BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic.
• Driving record in compliance with company policy.
• Pass Physical Agility Test.
• Some work experience, preferable in healthcare.

Responsabilidades

• Assess each call situation to determine the best course of action with progressive Paramedic protocols.
• Utilize Paramedic skills on medical equipment including defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen and suction devices, IV fluids.
• Communicate with patients and loved ones to provide information and reassurance that care is being given.
• Act as Paramedic team leader and take responsibility for the scene and unit management as needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Work collaboratively with allied health and public safety personnel.
