Advocate Health in Charlotte, NC seeks an experienced EMT-Paramedic to join the MedCenter Air transport team. You will provide pre-hospital patient care, administer medications/IV therapy, and document care for the patient’s chart efficiently.

Requirements include EMT-P certification with NC credentialing and National Registry preferred; 1 year of field experience. Strong communication and teamwork are essential to operate in high-stress environments and coordinate with Medical Control.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of EMT-Paramedic training program.
• Current state EMT-P certification required.
• NC EMT-P and National Registry Paramedic preferred; SC EMT-P and National Registry Paramedic required within 90 days of hire.
• BCLS and ACLS required.
• PALS, STABLE and NRP preferred; trauma certification required within 6 months of employment.
• Advocate Health driving course to be completed within 90 days of hire and maintained throughout employment.
• One-year active pre-hospital field experience required.
• Three years total paramedic experience preferred.
• Annual completion of safety briefings and annual survival training required.
• Must have a valid driver's license and qualify as insurable for driving MedCenter Air.
• Must have had a driver's license for a minimum of 2 years.
• Must have an operational smartphone for use as communication device related to MedCenter Air operations.

• Completes skills check in a timely manner with accuracy.
• Maintains clean environment and ready vehicles at shift start and as needed.
• Documents patient care accurately and timely in the medical record.
• Provides quality patient care and education per policies and state regulations.
• Administers medications and IV solutions safely per policy.
• Follows guidelines when Medical Control is unavailable.
• Assists with public relations and marketing activities as needed.
• Drives in accordance with policy and regulations.
