Job summary

Atrium Health Fort Mills EMS is seeking a dedicated EMT-Paramedic to join the transport team in Charlotte, NC. The role focuses on patient care for ill and injured individuals, under supervision of Medical Control Physician, with continuous communications.

Responsibilities include accurate documentation, medication administration, driving per policy, and maintaining readiness of vehicles and equipment. Requires EMT-Paramedic training and state/National certifications, with potential for growth

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED required.
• Successful completion of an accredited EMT-Paramedic training program required.
• NC EMT-P and National Registry Paramedic certifications preferred; NC EMT-P and National Registry Paramedic required within 90 days of hire.
• BCLS and ACLS required.
• PALS, S.T.A.B.L.E. and NRP preferred; Trauma certification required within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Completes skills check with accuracy.
• Maintains clean environment and vehicles in mission ready status.
• Provides accurate documentation of patient care and timely charting.
• Administers medications and IV solutions per policy.
• Follows safety guidelines and drives in accordance with policy.
