Paramedic Services of Illinois, Inc. is seeking a Paramedic to join our team. You will respond to emergency calls, assess patients, administer treatments, and coordinate with healthcare professionals to guarantee high-quality care.

You will also maintain records, inspect equipment, and support vehicle operations while keeping licensure up to date. Applicants should have a paramedic credential, valid IL license, and firefighter certifications if applicable; a clean background and pre-employment

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Successful completion of a Paramedic program and active Illinois DOH license.
• Current Illinois Driver's License with proper class.
• Capable of continuing education and testing as required.
• Firefighter certifications (IO) for firefighter applicants preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency calls and assess patient needs.
• Administer medical treatment per protocols and guidelines.
• Safely lift, transfer, and maneuver patients in/out of ambulances.
• Communicate with patients, families, and other responders for coordinated care.
• Maintain accurate transport and equipment documentation.
• Ensure compliance with continuing education/licensure requirements.
