Ascension St. Vincent in Anderson, IN is seeking an Ambulance Ground Transport professional on a rotating part-time schedule.

You will provide advanced life support at the scene and during transport, stabilize patients, and communicate with receiving staff as part of the transport team. Requirements include BLS within 1 month, NREMT or Indiana Paramedic credential before hire, ALS preferred, and driver license.

Formación

• Must have BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire.
• NREMT or Paramedic credential prior to hire.
• Advanced Life Support (ALS) preferred.
• ER Vehicle Operation certification preferred.
• Neonatal Resuscitation certification preferred.
• Driver's License preferred.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred.
• PHTLS preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide advanced life support for critically ill/injured patients at the scene and during transport as part of the transport team.
• Identify, intervene, and stabilize the ill or injured patient during interfacility and intrafacility transport in collaboration with the transport physician and/or RN.
• Initiate and implement interventions based on transport team protocols; monitor, record and communicate patient condition and treatment; contact receiving medical personnel and follow directives.
• Inspect, maintain and care for equipment to ensure safety of the transport team, patients and public.
• Drive an ambulance to transport patients and/or supplies.
