Qualifications

• Active Paramedic license through IDHS.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care within department protocols and scope of practice.
• Complete patient care reports accurately and timely.
• Maintain ambulance readiness and equipment.
• Transport patients per EMS scope of practice and safety protocols.
• Set priorities for transport of multiple patients and coordinate resources.
• Ensure vehicle maintenance and readiness prior to and after shifts.
