Job summary

Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany, IN is seeking a Part-time Paramedic to join our EMS transport team, working 2 days per week for 24 hours total. The role supports ALS care and patient transport under medical director guidance.

Responsibilities include adhering to department protocols, completing patient care reports, maintaining vehicle readiness, and coordinating care delivery during emergencies. Indiana IDHS license and BLS/PALS/ACLS are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency.
• Active Paramedic license through IDHS.
• BLS certification.
• PALS & ACLS certifications (AHA/ARC).
• Other IDHS-certified trainings as required.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced life support care to patients per medical director and EMS protocols.
• Perform ambulance transportation within paramedic scope of practice.
• Document patient encounters accurately and timely.
• Maintain ambulance readiness, equipment, and ALS gear.
• Coordinate transport and resource deployment during multiple-patient incidents.
