AMR in Rutherford, TN is hiring a full-time Paramedic to provide basic and advanced medical care on ambulance runs. You will lead the Paramedic team on scenes, drive the ambulance on 911 responses, and coordinate with hospital staff and public safety partners.

Requires state paramedic license, BLS/ACLS/NREMT-Paramedic, and a valid driver’s license. We offer hourly wages starting at 21.50 with DOE and opportunities to grow within Global Medical Response family of services.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• State Paramedic License.
• State Driver’s License.
• BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic.
• Driving record in compliance with company policy.
• Pass Physical Agility Test.
• Some work experience, preferable in healthcare.

Responsabilités

• Assess each call situation todetermine the best course of action while working with progressive Paramedic protocols.
• Utilize your Paramedic skills on medical equipment and procedures including defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen and suction devices, and intravenous fluids to provide advanced medical care.
• Communicate with patients and loved ones to provide information and assurance that care is being given.
• Act asParamedicteam leader and take responsibility for the scene and unit management as needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Work collaboratively and in a professional manner withall alliedhealth and public safety personnel as well as your fellow Paramedics.
• Participate in community programs tomaintainAMR image andestablishstrong community relations.
