Job summary

City of Kingsburg is seeking a Paramedic under general supervision to provide definitive care in life-threatening medical situations. The paramedic responds to emergencies, administers ACLS level medicines, and uses the full scope of practice under CCEMSA Protocol.

Qualifications include one year field experience, California license with ambulance endorsement, National Registry PARAMEDIC certification, CCEMSA paramedic card, CPR and ACLS; attach all certifications.

Qualifications

• Must hold National Registry PARAMEDIC certification and CCEMSA PARAMEDIC card.
• High school diploma required; paramedic training completed.
• Licenses and certificates must be current and valid.
• Knowledge of ACLS, PALS, CPR and paramedic procedures.

Responsibilities

• Respond to medical emergencies and provide definitive care under supervision.
• Render aid, operate ambulances and equipment as assigned.
• Maintain certifications and participate in ongoing training.
