Job summary

City of Dinuba is seeking a per diem Paramedic to respond to emergencies, operate ALS protocols, and transport patients to medical facilities in California. You will drive ambulances, coordinate with dispatch, and work without set hours or benefits.

Required CA Paramedic licenses, BLS, and CCEMSA certification; bilingual in English/Spanish preferred; continuous education and equipment maintenance are essential aspects of the role.

Qualifications

• Equivalent to graduation from the 12th grade and completion of courses for certification for Paramedic.
• One year of experience as solo paramedic in emergency system preferred.
• Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responds to emergencies and drives ambulances to location.
• Administers Advanced Life Support (ALS) at site or in vehicle.
• Coordinates with dispatch and medical personnel for patient reception.
• Maintains equipment and vehicle readiness; trains EMTs; records vital statistics.
• Performs station maintenance and related duties as required.
