Job summary

Newman’s Medical Services, Inc. (Newman’s Ambulance) seeks a skilled Paramedic to provide ALS and pre-hospital care. You will assess patients, administer medications, perform advanced procedures, and work with EMTs to ensure safe transport.

You will operate defibrillators, ventilators, and monitors, document care in PCRs, follow EMS protocols, and comply with HIPAA. This role requires certification, license, BLS/ACLS/PALS, and the ability to work under pressure.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must possess a valid Paramedic certification.
• Current state Paramedic license is mandatory.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required.
• Previous ambulance service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency calls and assess patients quickly.
• Administer ALS, medications, IV therapy, and airway management.
• Operate and maintain EMS equipment and ambulance.
• Document patient care in PCRs.
• Coordinate with dispatch and hospital staff.
• Provide mentorship to less-experienced teammates.
