Job summary

AMR Josephine County is hiring Paramedics to deliver ALS care and transport in our busy 911 system. Enjoy living in Southern Oregon's Rogue River Valley with outdoor recreation nearby and a strong support network within GMR.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• State Paramedic License required
• State Driver’s License required
• BLS, ACLS, PALS and PHTLS or ITLS certifications needed
• Driving record in compliance with company policy
• Pass Physical Agility Test
• Healthcare work experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Assess each call to determine best action within a 911 system handling ~17,000 calls/year.
• Utilize Paramedic skills to full scope in Oregon.
• Communicate with patients and families to provide information and reassurance.
• Act as Paramedic team leader and manage scene and unit as needed.
• Collaborate professionally with allied health and public safety personnel.
