Job summary

Superior Ambulance is hiring EMTs and Paramedics to provide safe transportation and high-quality medical care across multiple Illinois locations. Candidates must hold NREMT or state licenses (or be pending) and possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities include accurate patient assessments, documenting care, and communicating conditions to healthcare teams. Flexible schedules and opportunities for overtime and career growth are available.

Qualifications

• Current NREMT or state license (or pending) is required.
• Ability to provide medical care at EMT/Paramedic level while transporting patients.
• Valid driver's license and safe driving record required.
• Pass pre-employment interview, physical, lifting exam, drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide appropriate patient care per EMT/Paramedic training.
• Safely transport patients and accurately identify locations and addresses.
• Assess patients and communicate conditions to medical staff.
• Document patient condition, history, and treatment provided in reports.
• Provide accurate billing documentation.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and monitor fluids and gauges.
