Job summary

Superior Ambulance Service is hiring EMTs and Paramedics for multiple Illinois locations, including Chicago area and Rockford. You will provide patient care, safely transport patients, and document care in reports. A current NREMT or state license (or pending) is required, along with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Qualifications

• Must have NREMT or current state license (or pending).
• Ability to provide medical care at EMT/Paramedic level while transporting.
• Valid driver's license with safe driving record.
• Pass pre-employment interview, physical, lifting exam, drug screen, and background check.
• Attend company-provided training and driving course.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care as EMT level per training.
• Safely transport patients and read maps to locate addresses.
• Assess patient and convey condition to medical staff.
• Prepare accurate written reports of patient condition and treatment.
• Maintain accurate written reports detailing patient condition and treatment.
