Superior Ambulance Service, Inc. is hiring EMTs and Paramedics to provide safe patient transport and quality medical care across multiple Illinois locations.

Qualifications

• NREMT or current state license (or pending).
• Ability to provide medical care at EMT or Paramedic level while transporting patients.
• Valid driver's license with good driving record; able to operate in various conditions.
• Pass a pre-employment interview including a physical and lifting examination, drug screen, and background check.
• Attend company-provided training and driving course.

Responsibilities

• Provide appropriate patient care as stipulated in EMT training.
• Provide safe transportation with accurate map reading and address recognition.
• Assess patients and convey condition to other medical professionals.
• Provide accurate written reports describing patient condition, medical history, and treatment.
• Provide documentation for billing information.
• Maintain vehicle in sanitary condition and monitor fluids/gauges.
