Job summary

Superior Ambulance Service, Inc. is hiring paramedics to deliver high-quality pre-hospital care across multiple Illinois locations including Elgin. You will assess, treat, and transport patients, while documenting care and ensuring safe vehicle operation.

Candidates must hold EMT/Paramedic licensure, pass background checks, and maintain a valid driver’s license. Competitive compensation and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Must hold NREMT or state license (or pending).
• Provide medical care at EMT/Paramedic level while transporting patients.
• Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record.
• Pass pre-employment interview including a physical and lifting exam, drug screen, and background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide appropriate patient care as stipulated in training as a Paramedic.
• Provide safe transportation and accurate map-reading to reach locations.
• Assess patient and convey condition to medical professionals.
• Document patient condition, history, and treatment provided in writing.
• Provide documentation for billing information.
• Maintain vehicle sanitation and monitor fluid levels and gauges.
