Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• Successful completion of a Paramedic program and active Illinois license.
• Active Illinois Department of Public Health Paramedic license.

Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency calls and assess patient needs.
• Administer medical treatment per established protocols.
• Safely lift and transfer patients in various settings.
• Communicate with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate transport and equipment documentation.
• Comply with continuing education and licensure requirements.
• Inspect and report vehicle and equipment issues.
• Assist with firefighting and rescue activities as needed.
