Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center in Cincinnati, OH, seeks a full-time Paramedic for the Burnet Emergency Department. The role is day shift, 36 hours per week, with starting pay based on experience and qualifications.

The position offers a fast-paced, pediatric-focused environment with opportunities to impact patient care and outcomes. You will perform assessments, monitoring, treatments, documentation, and drive collaboration within a multidisciplinary team while maintaining safety

Qualifications

• Current Ohio or Kentucky paramedic certification
• NREMT certification within 6 months of hire
• ACLS and PALS within 3 months
• Neonatal Resuscitation Provider within 6 months
• Trauma certification within 1 year
• Valid driver's license with <5 points

Responsibilities

• Clinical Practice & Patient Care - provide assessment, monitoring, treatment and clinical decision-making within the Paramedic scope and departmental protocols.
• Safety & Operational Readiness - promote a safe environment, inspect equipment, ensure readiness, participate in emergency response and transport activities.
• Communication & Collaboration - communicate with healthcare team, provide clear handoffs, support quality initiatives and adhere to policies.
• Compliance & Professional Practice - maintain certifications, licensure and confidentiality, comply with laws and privacy requirements.
