Cincinnati Children's Liberty Campus is hiring for a Night shift Paramedic in the Liberty Emergency Department. The role involves patient transport, direct patient care during transport, and ensuring safety and compliance with EMS guidelines.

Responsibilities include clear communication with the healthcare team, maintaining confidentiality, and adhering to state EMS rules. 36 hours weekly, FTE 0.9, with starting pay range of $24.56–$30.75 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of work experience in a related job discipline.
• Ohio Paramedic Certification, Kentucky Paramedic certification within 6 months of hire
• NREMT within 6 months of hire
• ACLS, PALS certification within 3 months of hire
• Neonatal Resuscitation Provider within 6 months of hire
• Trauma certification within 1 year of hire
• Valid Driver's License with less than 5 points on driving record

Responsibilities

• Patient Transport- Perform skills as established by CCHMC Transport Team policy and procedure and guideline and the State of Ohio Board of EMS.
• Patient Care- Provide appropriate patient care during transport and give full report to clinical personnel at receiving facility.
• Safety- Foster environment that prevents accident, illness and injury and strives for continuous improvement.
• Communication- Promote open and timely communication with all members of the health care team and maintain confidentiality.
• Confidentiality- Protect patient/family personal medical and financial information at all times.
