Job summary

Raleigh General Hospital, part of Lifepoint Health, seeks a Switchboard Operator - Paramedic to support emergency communications. The role requires a WV EMT-Paramedic license and at least two years of active field Paramedic experience.

You will coordinate information flow between EMS, hospital teams, and regional partners to ensure timely patient care. The position is full-time with a varied schedule, including three 12-hour shifts, nights and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Current WV EMT-Paramedic license is required.
• Minimum 2 years of active field Paramedic experience.

Responsibilities

• Support emergency communications by relaying critical information between EMS providers, hospital teams, and regional partners.
• Activate response teams for patient care alerts (STEMI, trauma, stroke) and relay patient information from inbound units.
• Maintain accurate documentation to support patient care continuity and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with EMS providers and hospital staff to ensure coordinated patient care.
