Job summary

Prisma Health EMS in Greenville Memorial Hospital is seeking a Communications Dispatcher to manage critical EMS and hospital communications. Route radios and phones to appropriate patient care areas, triage calls for Adult Critical Care, Chest Pain Center, Children’s Emergency Center, and OB Triage, and document encounters accurately in the EMR.

You will monitor helipad, trauma bays, and dispatch flow; communicating with EMS personnel and clinical staff to support patient placement and staff

Qualifications

• Two years of EMS field, dispatch, or hospital-based experience.
• In lieu of two years, three years of hospital ED or medical services experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Answer and triage EMS calls and route to appropriate area.
• Monitor helipad, squad entrance, and trauma bays via cameras.
• Document all calls and messages accurately in EMR and logs.
• Coordinate with EMS medics and clinical staff for patient placement.
