Qualifications

• Current West Virginia EMT Paramedic certification is required.
• Minimum of 2 years of active field Paramedic experience.

• Proficiency with basic computer applications and data entry.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Supports the efficient operation of the Region 1 Medical Command Center by relaying critical information to the patient care team.
• Activates appropriate response teams for patient care alerts and communicates with inbound ground and air transport units.
• Serves as a regional communication and disaster resource coordinator during emergencies.
• Maintains accurate and timely documentation to support patient care continuity and regulatory compliance.
• Prioritizes multiple urgent communications and manages information flow under pressure.
• Collaborates with EMS providers, hospital staff, and emergency response partners to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Performs clerical duties such as filing, data entry, scanning, and faxing while upholding HIPAA standards.
