Mary Washington Healthcare is seeking a qualified clinical support professional to assist nurses and medical staff, ensuring quality patient care across the care team. You will perform direct and indirect patient care, venipuncture, IV initiation, EKG, and respiratory therapy tasks within your scope, collaborating with physicians and Emergency Services staff.

The role requires Virginia Paramedic certification or equivalent, CPR/ACLS/PALS, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Competenze

• High School or GED required.
• Current VA Parametric Certification and/or National Registry CPR, ACLS and PALS.
• EOE; commitment to equitable pay practices.

Mansioni

• Provides direct and indirect patient care under supervision and leadership.
• Determines priorities of care based on patient needs and flow.
• Assists patients with basic care and related duties per nursing policies.
• Administers treatments and procedures within scope as ordered by physicians.
• Communicates with ED physicians about status, results, and changes.
• Performs venipuncture, starts IVs, and handles phlebotomy with proper labeling.
• Sets up and manages respiratory support and monitors pieces of equipment.
• Demonstrates competence in medication management and documentation.
• Maintains licensure and adherence to regulatory requirements.
